Comprehensive Care, Tailored to Your Journey

The neurodiversity perspective understands that society often pathologizes neurodivergent behaviour. Because neurodivergent people are in the minority, they are frequently misunderstood, marginalised, and discriminated against. Much of the trauma and suffering a neurodivergent person endures stems from how poorly they have been viewed and treated by the majority of society.

Our team conducts comprehensive, person-centred assessments to better understand strengths, challenges, and support needs.

  • Sensory Integration & Developmental Assessments: To identify and support sensory processing differences.
  • Accommodation Assessments: Supporting learners in CAPS, IEB, GDE, and Cambridge curricula.

  • Workplace Accommodation Assessments: Tailored strategies for inclusive employment environments.

  • Career & Subject Choice Guidance: Helping young people align strengths and passions with future study or work.

  • Neurodevelopmental Assessments: For conditions such as autism and ADHD.

  • Learning Assessments: For dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia.

  • Psychological Assessments: For mood, anxiety, and other mental health concerns.

  • Language & Communication Assessments: For expressive/receptive language, speech clarity, and AAC suitability.

Diagnostic Services:
The first step in better understanding yourself or child is to participate in an evaluation process aimed at gaining a deeper insight into the neurotype and any co-occurring difficulties that may require support, such as specific learning barriers, challenges with emotional regulation, sensory regulation, and speech and language differences.

This process begins with an in-depth intake interview and may be followed by appropriate assessments conducted by one of our therapists. If you are bringing your child, an observation at school will also be part of this process.

We use the DISCO and MIGD-2 as the primary tools for guiding our autism diagnosis process.

Therapeutic Support:
If you already have undergone a diagnostic evaluation and have been given a diagnosis by a professional, and are comfortable with the findings, we offer the following support services:

  • Occupational Therapy to help with understanding the sensory needs of the individual.
  • Psychotherapy to help support the individual with any difficulties they may be facing in their life.
  • Speech Therapy to help with communication and feeding challenges.

Psycho-Education:
If you have been for therapy, or therapy has not been deemed necessary, post-diagnostic psycho-education or parenting support may be the next option. Psychoeducation is considered a key component of working within neurodivergent people. Without the right type of support, partners, parents, friends, teachers and employers may unintentionally be doing more harm and causing trauma.
